Dear Family and Friends of Ewha,
2024 was an amazing year. We visited the Ewha campus for the 138th anniversity and had a grand celebration at the annual board meeing in San Francisco. And now we have the wonderful privilege to live into 2025 as we anticipate a gathering with the United Alumnae Chapters of North America and the International Foundation for Ewha W. University in Washington D.C. This year’s theme “Ewha in(人) DC: Go Together, Blossom Forever!” perfectly captures the spirit of Ewha and the journey we have shared as a global community.
For decades the United Alumnae Chapters of North America and the International Foundation of Ewha have worked closely to support Ewha’s mission. Your dedication has had a significant impact on the university’s growth and the opportunity to provide world class education to its students.
We are especially excited to welcome Dr. Hyang-Sook Lee, the newly inaugurated President of Ewha W. University. We look forward to collaborating with her and learning about her vision for the university’s future.
Ewha, meaning “pear blossom” symbolizes growth, resilience, and unity. Just as the pear blossom blooms year after year, so too does our global Ewha family, flourishing together. The support we offer Ewha reflects our shared belief in the power of education to transform lives and make the world a better place.
